No Splinters
Every Dendrophil wooden item is sanded to its utmost smoothness. I can promise that you will never get a splinter in the normal course of events.About the paints and metalsAfter being sanded, each lingham is sealed and then painted, if that is the choice. My paints are artists' fine acrylics. I use what are called Single-Pigment formulations, choosing the transparent and translucent pigments preferably.
The Metallic decorations are a mica powder, of the same sort that is used in eye shadows. I mix these powders in a polyurethane resin, so it is completely embedded. These colors will not chip or wear off, under normal use.
Then it recieves at least four (4) thin coats of a food-grade, water-based Polyurethane resin. Each coat is timed so that it will bond with the previous one, for maximum protection.
Although some woods have deeply textured grain, making dips and hollows in the surface, these textures are impervious to moisture.
Care and CleaningAlthough I have tried to make these dildos as durable as possible, please remember that they are made of wood. Unlike your latex or silicon toys, they will not take kindly to a ride in your dishwasher!
Wash, if necessary, with a gentle detergent, without submerging the wood. Rubbing alchohol is a safe germicide.
If you are thinking clearly at the time, roll a rubber over it, before you share! |
