These two lovelies are lathed from pennsylvania Cherry wood with the most amazing grain and markings! Both fall within the “medium” size range, in my opinion; as you know, I never turn to exact measurements.
Neither of these beauties are ready to go to new homes just yet. They need at least six coats of food grade, diamond-hard polyurethane finish and– the one on the right, the larger one, has a delightful vulva-shaped knothole that I must fill in (with clear epoxy and possibly a gemstone chip in its depths) But if you wish to place a hold on either one, let me know!
These sweethearts can be embellished, as well. Someone mentioned green-and-gold, and I like that idea. In fact, that very someone has pre-purchased the right-hand one.
price for the lefthand one: $60 as is; painting or gilding will add somewhat to the cost.
